How to Use the Scrabble Word Finder

Board pattern (optional): If letters are already on the board, enter the pattern with _ for unknowns. E.g. _R_ finds 3-letter words with R in the middle.

About This Scrabble Word Finder
The ClueSolver Scrabble Word Finder uses the ENABLE word list — a public-domain dictionary of 172,000+ words used in competitive Scrabble. All results are guaranteed to be playable in official Scrabble games. We never use Hasbro's proprietary TWL or Collins word lists.
The solver checks every word in the dictionary against your available letters in under 100ms. Blank tiles are handled automatically — the solver tries every possible letter substitution and includes all valid words. Results are ranked by Scrabble point value using standard tile scores.

The highest-scoring plays combine premium squares (triple word, double letter) with high-value tiles (Q=10, Z=10, J=8, X=8). A bingo — using all 7 rack tiles in one play — earns a 50-point bonus. Use the board pattern field to find words that hook onto existing tiles and hit premium squares.
